All iCBD tinctures contain CBD, or “cannabidiol”, which is a special compound that interacts with your body’s unique Endocannabinoid System (ECS). This system, which was only recently discovered in the 1990’s, is made up of a series of native receptors that promote homeostasis within humans and animals. According to UCLA Health, “We now know the endocannabinoid system is involved in a wide variety of processes, including pain, memory, mood, appetite, stress, sleep, metabolism, immune function, and reproductive function. Endocannabinoids, such as CBD, are arguably one of the most widespread and versatile signaling molecules known to man.” CBD is primarily found in the flowers and leaves of hemp plants, and we at iCBD ensure our CBD is extracted from the highest-quality sourced hemp available.
Is ICBD a true Full-Spectrum CBD Oil?
Yes! As you begin to explore the various CBD options out there, you are likely to hear terms like, “Full-Spectrum” or “Broad-Spectrum”, but what exactly do they mean? A true Full-Spectrum typically refers to a whole plant extraction method which retains all of the various terpenes and endocannabinoids, including THC. Broad-Spectrum is nearly identical; except there are certain endocannabinoids that have been removed, namely THC. All iCBD full spectrum products meet the compliant level of THC (under 0.3% THC).
Our Full-Spectrum Hemp extract contains higher concentrations of cannabinoids and terpenes to create a more potent entourage effect for maximum efficacy. Due to the presence of additional plant compounds and cannabinoids, Full or Broad-Spectrum extracts may contain increased attributes over CBD due to the synergistic combination of cannabinoids and plant compounds. This magnifies the effectiveness of the CBD, versus using CBD in isolation by itself. Although this can add to the cost of the product, it ensures the highest quality user experience.
Science has shown that consistent dosing is key for the best results. We recommend building a routine and sticking to it for at least 4-6 weeks to determine your ECS response and calibrate your dosing. Some users see an immediate impact to their overall wellness, while others require a larger sample size to feel the benefits.
Does CBD get me high?
No! CBD is a non-psychoactive cannabinoid. In other words, it does NOT get you high.
A clear head
CBD should not undermine your focus or cognitive abilities. However, individuals may respond differently, so consult a physician to ensure you are not mixing any medications and express any concerns of using CBD.
iCBD is 100% legal. All of our products are extracted from the highest-quality hemp and conform to all state and federal laws in a gMFP facility, and are consistent with industry standards in the United States. On a Federal level, US Congress passed the 2018 Farm Bill which removed hemp (defined as cannabis with less than 0.3% THC) from Schedule I controlled substances and making it an ordinary agricultural commodity.
